What Services Come as Standard?
Leased lines come with a host of support features as standard
to ensure your connection stays fast and reliable.
Line monitoring
We monitor your line continually so if it ceases to function
for any reason, we will advise you by phone in normal working
hours and by email out of hours.
Backup connection
A backup iSDN/modem connection enables you to carry on working
even if the circuit fails.
Domain name service
We offer primary and secondary DNS for as many domains as you
require.
Secondary mail relays
We offer two secondary mail relays should yours fail for any
reason. These relays will take all of your mail on your behalf
and forward it to you when your service is functioning again.
News service
Our full-feed news server can be made available to all machines
on your line on request.
Line statistics
We monitor your usage of the line and make graphs available to
you so you can see when and where your resources are being used.
The graphs are updated every five minutes and show both incoming
and outgoing traffic hour by hour, day by day, week by week and
month by month.
IP filtering
We can filter certain services from your line on request. For
instance, you may choose not to allow telnet access to any of
your machines, or perhaps you don't want your network to be able
to browse the world wide web.
