BT Prime
As part of a move to make London the telecommunications capital
of Europe BT has narrowly extended its requirements to qualify
for their private buyers scheme, BT Prime. This scheme is normally
reserved for those authorised BT Corporate Customers and Buyers
at Wholesale Rate. Those businesses to qualify are eligible for:
a) A rate of £0.00 for calls while connected to the Internet
b) A guarantee of 99.99% reliability*
c) Between 200% and 20000% speed increase over ISDN or ADSL lines.**
d) Instant refunds by direct debit in the event of downtime.***
e) Renewal discounts on old contracts for ISDN, Leased Line or
ADSL from 20% to 75%.****
BT will supply a permanent, private Internet connection between
sites and the Internet using high capacity copper or fibre optic
cable.
.Permanent uplinks will not affect any existing services and be
installed throughout the 0207/0208 areas.*****
Qualifying criteria include:
- All existing leased line customers ie: T1, 64K Copper
- ISDN customers with more than 5 employees
- ADSL customers with data reliability needs.
- Businesses with high volumes of data transfer ie: estate agents,
architects, designers
- Businesses with high Internet usage.
- Sites must be within 0207/0208(Other discount schemes are
